Pay, Allowances and Alled Benefits

Agniveer paid Rs. Registered Agniveer package of Rs. Under this scheme, Rs. 30,000/- per month will be paid with prescribed annual increase. In addition, Dress and Traveling Allowances, Risk and Hardship Allowance (as applicable in IAF) will be paid. Benefits including ration, clothing, accommodation and Leave Travel Concession (LTC) should also be offered as per the existing rules.

Terminal Benefits – Seva Nidhi Package.

Agniveervayu will receive a lump sum service fund package at the conclusion of his period of engagement, consisting of his monthly remuneration and a matching government contribution, as detailed below.

How to Apply:-

Applicants must visit https://agnipathvayu.cdac.in to complete the online application.

The concerned candidates are required to upload the following relevant documents during the online registration process:-
(a) Certificate of graduation from class 10 or matriculation.
(b) Intermediate/10+2 or comparable grade report.
(c) Higher degree or, if applicable, certificate certifying additional qualifications.

Alternatively, the application can be submitted on the basis of final year mark sheet, Intermediate/Matriculation mark sheet, or three-year engineering diploma from a government recognized polytechnic in the specified stream.

OR Two years of professional course transcript including English, Physics, and Mathematics from a non-professional program.

(d) Recent color passport size photograph between 10 to 50 KB, taken not earlier than December 2023. The photo should be a frontal view on a light background, free from any headgear or facemask, unless he is a Sikh. To take the photo, a black slate should be placed in front of the candidate’s chest with the candidate’s name and the date of the photo shoot written in large, white chalk letters. If there is any change in one’s appearance from the photo, such as growing beard or headgear, candidature for STAR Online Examination and Phase II may be cancelled.

(e) Left hand thumb impression of the candidate, size between 10 to 50 KB.

(f) Signature image of the candidate, ranging in size from 10 KB to 50 KB.
(g) A photograph of the candidate’s parent, guardian or both (if the candidate is below 18 years of age at the time of filling the online application).

Note : Note: The exam strategy discussed above was created to streamline the applicant merit-based selection process. Agniveervayu registered under this entry may, at the discretion of the Indian Air Force, be assigned any assignment in the best interest of the organization, regardless of the examination process.

Take online test : 48 to 72 hours before the test, qualified candidates will receive admit cards for Phase I of the test through their nominated email address. Candidates are required to download the admit card, print it in color and bring it with them to the test venue. Candidates will be informed about the date and city of the examination in advance so that they can make their travel arrangements.

Candidates can also download this provisional admit card by logging into CASB website https://agnipathvayu.cdac.in. Every applicant who has a provisional admit card will appear for the online examination at the places specified or specified on his/her admit card. With the exception of the English paper, the online examination will be objective in nature and will have bilingual (English and Hindi) questions. For Phase I test, candidates must have their authentic Aadhaar card and a blue or black pen.
