How to Apply :
- Applications should be submitted in online mode only on the official website of BSF i.e. https://rectt.bsf.gov.in. For detailed instructions, please refer to Annexure-I of this notice. Specimen proforma of One Time Registration and Online Application Form is enclosed as Annexure-1.
- In the online application form, the photograph of the candidate to be uploaded should not be older than three (03) months from the date of publication of this notice in compliance with the order dated 05.03.2020 passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in the case of Shantanu Kumar & Ors. (WP(C) No. 234/2018), without which their application/candidature will be rejected/cancelled. The front view of the face should be clearly visible.
- The application portal will remain open from 09/06/2024 (00.01 AM) to 08/07/2024 (upto 23.59 PM).
- Candidates are advised to submit online applications much before the last date in their own interest and not to wait till the last date, so as to avoid the possibility of failure/ inability or failure to log in to BSF website due to heavy load on the website during the last days.
- BSF will not be responsible for candidates not being able to submit their applications within the last date due to the above reasons or for any other reason beyond the control of BSF.
- Before submitting the online application, candidates must check that they have filled in the correct details in each field of the form. Requests received in this regard in any form such as post fax email, by hand etc. will not be considered.
Important Instructions to Candidates:
- The candidature of candidates whose Date of Birth, Parents’ Name does not match with the application submitted online will be summarily rejected.
- Candidates whose LTI, Signature, Handwriting and Photograph do not match with any of the PST, Biometric data collected during PST & CBT and submitted online by the applicants at any stage of the examination will be classified as doubtful candidates. Further, BSF may also take appropriate action to get the matter investigated by the concerned authorities/ Forensic experts etc. to decide the candidature.
- Candidates are advised to read the following very carefully:-

- Candidates are advised to submit online application before the last date in their own interest and not to wait till the last date, to avoid the possibility of failure/ inability or failure to log on to BSF website due to heavy load on the website during the last days.
- The documents collected from the candidates and their verification will be done by the Recruitment Board at the time of DV. Hence, candidature will be accepted only provisionally. Before applying the candidates should read the requirements of Educational Qualification, Age, Physical & Medical Standards etc. carefully and satisfy themselves that they are eligible for the post they are applying for. When the documents are scrutinized at the time of DV, if any claim made in the application is found to be unfounded, the candidature will be cancelled.
- NOTICE Candidates seeking reservation benefits or any other relaxation available to SC/ST/OBC/EWS/ESM as per the provision of the examination should ensure that they are entitled to such reservation/relaxation. They should also have a certificate in the prescribed format in support of their claim.
- Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidates are not eligible to apply for this examination.
