NLC India Limited Education Qualification
Trade Apprentice:-
Passed ITI exam (NCVT) of relevant trade from a Government recognized Institute.
Technician (Diploma Holder) Apprentice:-
Diploma in Technology or Engineering from a recognized Institute.
Graduate (Engineering) Apprentice:-
Degree in Technology or Engineering from a recognized Indian University
Graduate (Non-Engineering) Apprentice:-
B.Com or BBA Degree from Any Recognized University in India
Note:
- Only candidates having passed the notified educational qualifications are eligible to apply.
- Any other qualification, considered/classified as equivalent or which has a combination of branches other than the notified will not be considered.
- All the above educational qualifications must be obtained from Indian Universities/Institutes, recognized by NCVT or DGT or AICTE or UGC (as applicable) or any other appropriate statutory authority in India. Other Eligibility Requirements: Minimum age limit; Must have completed 18 years of age as per Section 3(a)n of the Apprenticeship Act 1961. Maximum age; Must not have completed 35 years of age. Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination in the year 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 or 2024. Only those candidates are eligible who reside in the state of Rajasthan. The candidate cannot be an apprentice for NLC India Limited or enrolled in any apprenticeship program elsewhere. Candidate must not have experience of one year or more in any job.

Method of Selection :-
- The selection will be based on the percentage of marks/aggregate marks obtained by the candidates in the relevant qualifying examination (ITI/Diploma/B.E./B.Tech./B.Com./B.B.A.) or equivalent in the relevant trade/subject.
- For Trade Apprentice, the selection will be based on the percentage of marks obtained by the candidates in ITI examinations (NCVT) of the relevant trade.
- For Diploma/Technician Apprentice, the selection will be based on the percentage of marks obtained in Diploma in the relevant subject.
- For Graduate (Engineering) Apprentice, the selection will be based on the percentage of marks obtained in B.E./B.Tech in the relevant subject.
- For Graduate (Non-Engineering) Apprentice, the selection will be based on the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying degree. Percentage of marks obtained by the candidates in all semesters in the relevant degree i.e. B.Com./B.B.A. degree.
- Percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in the Diploma or Bachelor’s degree awarded in the last qualifying examinations. Or if the candidate is awarded grades/CGPA instead of marks, the percentage of marks will be based on the procedure followed by the University/Institute from which he/she has obtained the diploma or graduation degree.
- In the absence of any established scheme in the University/Institute for calculating percentage of marks, the following principles will apply.
- If grades/CGPA are awarded to the candidate, equivalence in percentage of marks will be established by multiplying the grades/CGPA by a factor of 10.
- If marks are awarded to the candidate semester wise, equivalence in percentage of marks will be established by taking the average of the percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in all the semesters from second year to final year, including the average of the semesters.
- In case marks are awarded to a candidate year wise, then equality in percentage of marks will be established by taking the average of percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in all the years.
General Instructions to Candidates:
- The candidate must obtain the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examinations as mentioned above in the application form (also provide proof of conversion formula along with the application).
- Candidates over-reporting of marks will be disqualified from the selection process.
- In case of more than one candidate securing the same percentage of marks at the cut-off level, the most senior candidate on the basis of date of birth will be considered for selection.
- Any misstatement/falsification of facts in the qualifying examination will lead to direct disqualification and may attract consequences.
Application Process :-
- The online application portal www.nlcindia.in has been made available in Career Page Trainee & Apprentice tab under Advertisement No. BP 01/2024.
- Complete the Registration cum Application Form and take a print out of the Registration cum Application Form.
- The Registration cum Application Form must be duly signed and enclosed with self-attested copies of the following certificates and must reach the following address by post on or before 30.06.2024.
