SSC Combined Graduate Level Education Qualification

Junior Statistical Officer

Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized University or Institute and at least 60% marks in Mathematics in 12th class. OR

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with Statistics as a subject at the degree level.

Statistical Investigator Grade-II

Graduation degree in any discipline with Statistics as a subject from a recognized University or Institute. Candidates must have completed all six semesters or all three years of the degree course in Statistics.

Research Assistant in (NHRC) National Human Rights Commission

Essential Qualifications:

Graduate degree from a recognized university or institute.

Desirable Qualifications:

Minimum one year research experience in a recognized university or recognized research institute.

Degree in Human Rights or Law from a recognized University.

All other posts

Graduation degree or equivalent from a recognized University.

Individuals who are in the final year of graduation are also eligible to apply but they must fulfill all the requirements before the last date of August 1, 2024.

How to Apply :-

Applications should be submitted in online mode only on the new website of SSC Headquarters i.e. https://ssc.gov.in.
Since the One-Time Registrations (OTRs) already generated on the old website (https://ssc.nic.in) will not work for the new website, any candidate who wishes to apply in response to this notice and who has not generated their OTR on the new website (https://ssc.gov.in) should do so. Candidates can fill the examination application after completing the OTR. Once the OTR is generated on the new website, it will remain valid for all examinations applied for on the new website.
To apply, the candidate is not required to get his/her photograph taken beforehand. The application module is designed to capture the photograph of the candidate while filling the application form. When instructed by the application module, the candidate must stand or sit in front of the camera for this purpose. Then, while taking the photo, they must follow the guidelines given below.
The appearance of the candidate in the examination should be as per the photograph provided in the application form. Candidates must ensure that the photograph taken is clear, without cap or spectacles and full front view is visible. Applications not having photograph as per the instructions are liable to be rejected. In no case should the candidate take a photograph of his/her existing photograph. All such applications containing his/her existing photograph will be rejected.
Before submitting the application form, the candidate must ensure that the photograph is uploaded as per the instructions given. If the photograph is not uploaded in the required format then the application or candidature of the candidate will be cancelled or rejected.
The scanned signature must be uploaded by the candidates in JPEG or JPG format (10 to 20 KB). The dimensions of the signature image should be approximately 6.0 cm (width) x 2.0 cm (height). Applications with unsuitable photograph or blurred/small signature, which do not fulfil the above requirements will be summarily rejected.
To prevent the possibility of not being able to log on to the SSC website due to heavy load on the website in the last days, candidates are advised to submit their online applications well before the last date instead of waiting till the last moment.
The Commission will not be responsible if candidates are unable to submit their applications by the last date due to any of the reasons listed above or for any other reason beyond the control of the Commission.
Before submitting online applications, candidates should check through the preview/print option that they have filled in the correct details in each field of the form. They should also check that the photograph and signature fulfil all the above requirements.
