Important Instruction for Candidates :-
- Before applying, candidates should carefully read the instructions given in the Notice of Examination. The Notice of Examination is printed in both English and Hindi. In case of any dispute, the English version shall prevail.
- All candidates, who wish to apply in response to this notice and who have not generated their One-Time Registration (OTR) on the new website of the Commission (i.e., https://ssc.gov.in), are required to do so as the OTR generated earlier on the old website (https://ssc.nic.in) will not be functional for the new website. Once the OTR is generated on the new website, it will remain valid for all examinations applied for on the new website.
- Candidates seeking reservation benefits available for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/ESM/PWD should ensure that they are entitled to such reservation as per the eligibility prescribed in the notice. They should also have certificates in the prescribed format in support of their claim.
- Before submitting the revised/final online application, as the case may be, candidates must check that they have filled in the correct details in each field of the form. Requests received in this regard in any form such as post, fax, email, by hand etc. will not be entertained by the Commission and will be summarily rejected.
- Candidates must write their name, date of birth, father’s name and mother’s name exactly as given in the Matriculation Certificate, failing which their candidature may be cancelled at the time of document verification or if any such discrepancy comes to the notice of the Commission.
How to Apply :
- All candidates willing to apply in response to this notice need not generate their One-Time Registration (OTR) on the Commission’s new website (https://ssc.gov.in), as the OTR generated on the Commission’s old website (i.e. https://ssc.nic.in) will not work for the new website. After the OTR, candidates can proceed to fill the application for the examination. Once the OTR is generated on the new website, it will continue to be valid for all examinations applied for on the new website.
- Applications should be submitted in online mode only through the Commission’s website i.e. https://ssc.gov.in.
- To apply, it is not necessary for the candidate to have his/her photograph already captured. The application module is designed to capture the photograph of the candidate while filling the application form. For this purpose, the candidate has to stand/sit in front of the camera of the computer/mobile phone as prompted by the application module and follow the following instructions while capturing the live photograph:
- The appearance of the candidate in the examination should be as per the photograph given in the application form. Candidates should ensure that the photograph taken is clear, without cap or goggles and full front view. Applications not having photograph as per the instructions are liable to be rejected. In no case should a candidate capture a photograph of his/her existing photograph. All such applications in which a photograph of his/her existing photograph has been captured will be rejected.
- Before submitting the application form, the candidate has to ensure that the photograph has been captured as per the instructions given. If the photograph is not captured in the required format by the candidate, his/her application/candidature will be rejected or cancelled.
